I had really painful dry eye issues and once I found Dr Kataria I was able to recover following her guidance. It has made a huge difference in my life. I love that she really listens carefully and educated me thoroughly. She’s one of the best doctors I know!

Dr. Kataria and her staff are fantastic to deal with from making an appointment, meeting the doctor, and choosing new glasses. This is a small and beautiful office with plenty of parking. Dr. Kataria seems to have all the latest, modern equipment and makes sure her patients are very comfortable, including my favorite - no anxiety-inducing puffs of air in your eye! She did not rush and was very thorough with my exam and answering all my questions. They have a very nice selection of eyewear to choose from with a very kind and experienced staff member to aid in your selection and get you fitted properly. The gentleman running the front desk is also very warm and welcoming. This is a wonderful addition to the Porter Ranch community!

First, the warmest reception, starting with my first call inquiry. The optometry office felt like an upscale spa....the ambiance, the attentiveness. Then.....the exam with Dr. Hardeep Kataria was such a refreshing, intuitive, communicative experience....and I should know, having been near-sighted since 2nd grade! I had the most excellent and rewarding experience walking into Avant Optometry last Saturday. The optometrist was extremely knowledgeable and is super patient. You will definitely come out learning something new about the technology of eyewear, whether it has to do with contacts or glasses, which is very imperative nowadays.The gentleman at the front had a great attitude...

I had a great experience at my first visit with Dr. Kataria and the staff. Scheduling was easy and accommodating despite my last minute needs. The office is extremely clean and modern, and Dr. Kataria herself was great - knowledgeable, patient with my questions, and made sure I ordered only exactly what I needed when it came to contact lenses. So glad I don't have to drive far for my optometrist appointments anymore :)
